Books by A. S. Byatt

So what should I ask?  I already know which is his favorite novel …and plan to ask about that…and of course we will cover his new forthcoming book The World According to Star Wars .

1. A.S. Byatt, Ragnarok: The End of the Gods .  Beautifully written, mixing moods from fantasy and Icelandic sagas, but it did nothing for me.  Some of you will like it.

I'm also enjoying A.S. Byatt's The Children's Book , which has beautiful language and creates its own world; still, I can't find the thread of the plot at p.100.  And the new Pamuk (which I'm still reading, very slowly) remains sublime and it is becoming one of my favorites.
