Books by Forough Farrokhzad, Gray, Elizabeth T., Jr.

3. Forough Farrokhzad, Let Us Believe in the Beginning of the Cold Season .  She died in a car crash in 1967 at the age of thirty-three, but it turns out she was an amazing poet.  I usually do not enjoy poetry in translation, but this is so fiery and full of passion that I am happy to recommend it.  Surely in the original Farsi it is better (and quite different?) yet.
